Imaging method used during treatment by surgery patentable
An imaging method that presupposes an invasive step is patentable under art. 2a(1)(2) of the German Patent Act (corresponding to art. 53(c) European Patent Convention 2000) as long as it does not teach how to carry out the invasive step and limits its scope to the imaging method as such.
